2. My 3 questions besides name and business were; Number key for entrepreneurship aspect of business? Number one way to grow consumer base and expand business? Where do you see the business in 5 years?
3. Throughout the entire year in this class I feel I have grown especially when it comes to talking to people and their businesses. Many of the awkward and nerve racking situations that occur are a lot easier now and many people, including Sam see that for me now. Even though I have always done well in these situations, I have gotten a lot better.
Don, you did a phenomenal job interviewing this kid Sam! I like the questions that you asked and I hope that I can try his beef jerky out one day! It is unfortunate you weren't able to interview someone earlier in the year, but this class is about growth and I think now that you know the importance of this assignment it will be a great lesson learned. I took a look at your blog and it seems pretty good I must say, your idea is great so I hope you keep up with that. You seem like a cool guy too, we should hangout sometime! ReplyDeleteHello Donovan!
ReplyDeleteGood work on this assignment! I think that you spent quite a while contemplating questions to ask your entrepreneur! I also think that your questions show how you were affected by this class. I am happy for you that you have gotten better at awkward situations.
I agree with you that this assignment can be really beneficial to aspiring entrepreneurs!
I did not do this assignment, but feel free to see my post about the first interview: http://kwallaceent.blogspot.com/2016/01/very-short-interview-no-1-with-jorge.html

Hey Donovan!
ReplyDeleteGreat job on this interview! It's the clear that your entrepreneur is just as knowledgeable and driven as you. It's awesome that you're surrounded by that because when you're around people on your same wavelength you stay motivated and goal-oriented. I also appreciated the fact that you now feel better about speaking with people, I can definitely agree that this course required getting out of our comfort zone but it was definitely good for growth.
