When I originally made the list I feel as my biggest problems were already ordered in most serious to least. World hunger is my top problem because without solving hunger, we have less population committed and able to fight the other battles. The most implementable solution would be having traveling doctors on a wider scale because further funding and action in the organizations that already exist would make it simple.
It is interesting to think about the unavailability of education to all of those who live in this world. A large portion of people grow up without education, or proper education, as we are fortunate to have here in the U.S. Having educators to move to those area's where education is needed is a good solution. I have met some people who do travel to teach English at other schools abroad but I don't know of anyone who actually moves to teach and I could see how this would help benefit many others in the long run.

Donovan,
ReplyDeleteYour 5 biggest problem's in the world list is quite interesting. I agree with the issue of a lack of food and nourishment for the entire population and racism and prejudice still existing. That was actually on my list of 5 biggest problems. However, not having basic medical care for basic human survival is disagreeable. We have an immensely potent medical field where we are only discovering more and more each day, progressing in that field. Yes, there are some parts of medicine that is still unknown, but if we are speaking in a basic sense, then we do have the medical care. I agree with the rest of your list though. Very well done!

Donovan,
ReplyDeleteYour list is definitely compiled of things that are big issues in the world. I believe that your solutions sound really good. I would have like them to be just a little bit more specific, but overall, I think you did a great job on this assignment! It was clear that your list was well thought out.
